Good Morning Lovelies...

Ugh, its so early...and I AM UP! WHY?!?! hehe.

I'm getting ready to go get my sister from college for her Christmas break...and I am sooo happy. I haven't seen the slag in a while! And when I think of her, I think of one of our favorite songs:

On A Happier Note...♥

With my last post being a very outraged cry against "PETA" I think I need to move on with a happier post.

Let me just tell you sugars, I'm not one to make mean posts all day, or bash all day, or wallow in hatred all day, I rarely do these things...but when I am at a breaking point I am at a breaking point.

Ok so I am super duper excited you guys! I am getting a new cell phone!

I am getting the ruby Blackberry Pearl! I have to say, I am going to miss my Sidekick 3 (I named her Sasha) but its time for a change. I have only had Sasha since May (I got it for my birthday) but since I have dropped her multiple times she was a little bit upset and started acting up. Poor Sasha. lol

BUT, my mother has ordered my new phone for me for Christmas, but is allowing me to have it as soon as it arrives because I am a GOOD GIRL! ♥

If I weren't already holding my parents to a 10 gift minimum I would happily wait until Christmas to open it but since each Christmas brings money, clothes, fragrances, dvds, and music, I felt that I could open my new gadget early without feeling less Christmassy.



This color makes me smile.

I am still trying to figure out what to get my college-girl sister...any suggestions?

Inspiration For Those Lovely Plus Size Ladies...

Ok, so in a time where having more to love is normal, and S-E-X-Y, plus sized inspiration is definately needed, so that all plus sized girls know that you don't have to dress frumpy.

The Greatest Comeback of All?

The puffed jacket. Yes, thats right Ye' did it.

In his "Can't Tell Me Nothin" video, Kanye west wore a variety of stylish pieces that were true to his status as "Most Fashionable Male Music Artist" nominated by me, of course. Haha.

The piece that stood out the most to me was the brown puffed jacket he wore. I thought that the puffed jacket was gone forever, little did I know, Ye had it under his sleeve for the comeback! Its, and his comeback, that is.

When I saw that it made me want to go out and buy all of my male friends a jacket like that! I decided AGAINST that idea, and decided (recently) that I would share it with my male blog readers instead...its cheaper. What can I say? lol

Emmy Went Thrifting With Mum!

Yep, I went thrifting today, and I was sort of in a rush because I had to fit in some house interior shopping as well. I hate rush shopping...anyways...I was only able to obtain a few items because I was sort of milling around the store very quickly...and I will post those.

It was fun, a quaint little eye sore of a store with some serious treasures inside!

My mother got a long beige cashmere sweater with these really big buttons! It was gorgeous and I know my mum will make it really chic.

VOGUE ITALIA DECEMBER 2007 / STEVEN MEISEL

So, since American Vogue has been reduced to the same rank as TeenPeople in my heart, I have been putting in applications for a new magazine subscription to satisfy my fashion urges.

I have Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Tokion, POP, Nylon, Lucky, and...now...Vogue Italia.

When I searched Vogue Italia online I saw beautiful creative images with extraordinary models on the cover. And these days when I see an American Vogue in my mailbox, quite frankly I pull the bills out first.

Where have all of the models gone? Is there a model ration at the American Vogue offices? Why must we go to our mailbox and see, issue after issue, a blah blah actress? I mean come on... Penelope Cruz?

I mean sureeee, May 2007 we had a cluster of models on the cover, and KUDOS I must say...but lets sore more of that eh?

Well anyways, I say that to say this: I LOVE VOGUE ITALIA...
