So recently there was a party held for Fashion Group International awards honorees Alber Elbaz and Howard Socol of Barney's New York, and of course...the crème de la crème was in attendance.
Some of the innovators who made a prominent appearance at this party were Phillip Lim, Behnaz Sarafpour, and Narciso Rodriguez...talk about variety...
So, alas, here are some photos from this special occasion:

Well, I don't know about you, but I sure wish I was throwing back alchoholic beverages like water, with the best of the best.
Here's hoping Emmy can give you actual live coverage next time!
Love you like a coldsore.

PS: Who else thinks that Chanel Iman is a runway staple?

What's That Enchanting Fragrance?
Someone once asked Coco Chanel, "Where should one spray perfume?"
She then replied..."Wherever one wants to be kissed."
Kudos, Coco, Kudos. I must say I love perfume with all my heart.
There is something about the delicate spray to the right and left wrists, and the way people try to pretend they are not sniffing the air when you pass by. If I know I am going to see that special person, I will spray a tiny bit on my hair brush and brush it through softly, so not to get into my scalp.
So, with Winter coming, and fall in its climax, I have selected a few perfect perfumes for those cold winter nights where some snuggling is required...
So here we are:
My personal favorite perfume by far this year is:
Danielle By Danielle Steele $20-$100 @ Sephora Available online as well!
Versace $65 @ Sephora Available online as well!
Juicy Couture $65 @ Sephora Available online as well!
Fresh $75 @ Sephora Available online as well
Vera Wang Princess $42 @ Sephora Available online as well!
So, when you decide which perfume to make your signature scent, or if you already have that special one...scent that is...remember Coco's words...
Here's hoping we all find that special person to snuggle with this Winter.
Love you like a coldsore!

Long Time No Post...
Yes, yes, my darlings I have been a tad bit under the weather lately so I couldn't post like I would have liked to, though I have been brain storming some creative ideas for posts when I made my return!
HERE I AM! tahaha.
So, I've recently fallen in love with a Washington D.C. metropolitan area based photographer by the name of Shervin Lainez. I was browsing around the internet and I stumbled upon his website.
I've decided to share some of his beautiful pictures with you, as well as his website link.
Enjoy darlings...

Now, there's definately more of his pictures that I love, but I've got to run...wine glasses won't arrange themselves for parties now will they?
Here's hoping all goes well.
Loveya like a coldsore.

The Wonderful World of Bracelets...
Bracelets have gained alot of buzz this season after adorning the wrists of A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and the queen La-Lohan herself.
So I thought I'd make a post of the different varieties of bracelets that are .
I must admit, I myself am starting to prefer a big statement making bracelets over the usual look of necklace-earring combo.
So here are some of my favorite peices:
Kenneth Jay Lane Tiger head bangle $89.00
Kenneth Jay Lane Tiger head bangle $89.00
Kenneth Jay Lane Snake bangle $175.00
Miu Miu Leather bracelet $125.00
Fendi Perspex logo cuff $170.00
I personally love the Kenneth Jay Lane bracelets...very glamourous peices that will last for a very long time...they'd make great presents as well...to a certain fashion blogger...
hmm...
With Love,

Its A Rainy Day Out...
So I decided to post some of my favorite pictures that I saved to my computer from all of the hours of web browsing I do.
They are random pictures of fashion, people, just anything...
Uggh the rain's slowed up a bit...but its still quite gloomy...this calls for a bright pink drink.

Adidas By Stella McCartney Spring 2008 Ready-to-Wear
It was quite charming to see her mix it up I must say. But...honestly...it wasn't groundbreaking.
Have a gander:
I can learn to love it.

Badgley Mischka Resort Collection 2008
Good morning loves,
I must say, I am aware that this collection was shown months ago, but I honestly had to re-evaluate all the collections before I settled upon a favorite.
Now this collection, I must point out is a gawd-send to me. I am so tired of menswear EVERYTHING on the runways. At least balance it out.
Its ok for a peice or two...but spare me please...
I digress...here are my favorite looks from the collection:
Ahh I love the smell of coffee and Elle Magazine in the morning.
Here's hoping I am feeling lively enough to shell out some more posts later on today...we shall see.
With Love,
-Emmy
